In this session we will talk about how our credit uses EFT records, focusing primarily on ACH distribution records. How we use match criteria; our preventative measures to be notified in case a company ID changes; our recovery methods if the distributions don’t take. If time permits, discuss other EFT records, ACH origination, Payroll, Bill Posting.

Utilizing Technology to Enhance Your Member’s Experience


There are so many different technology channels that are available to enhance your member’s experience. We will explore various technologies and explore how they can be used to benefit your member while increasing revenue for the credit union. In the session we will discuss online techniques, mobile, effective cross-selling, real-time decisions of loans, enhanced user interfaces, electronic form alternatives and streamlining branch traffic. We will survey how to manage technologies across generations to maintain relationships with older generations while embracing the millennial revolution.

We’ll present on how we implemented unit testing with some of our programming. Also, we’ll talk about our experience with - Pair Programming - concept. My colleague Dan Wolf will be co-presenting. Dan was a new employee last year and we worked together to re-write one of our larger online banking SymConnect programs through the Pair Programming.

Credit unions that need to tackle large projects often feel overwhelmed with the process of selecting the right product to accomplish their goal. Request for Proposals or RFPs are an excellent tool to help you manage the selection process and reduce your stress level. With the right RFP and rating process, your vendor selection can be broken down into manageable pieces where responsibility can be shared among several different team members. In this session we will provide a framework for you to use when completing RFPs and then rating the vendor submissions when they are returned to you. We will also give you tools to help rate vendors when it comes to the product demonstrations that follow the RFP submission process to help you get to the right vendor for the job.
